MHC FAMILY FUN RUN!

This year marked the 6th Annual Maritime Heart Center Family Fun Run and through partnership with Halifax Running Club, Youth Running Series and Run Nova Scotia participation levels reached all time highs with over 360 runners!

13 year old Maritime Heart Center patient and inspiration, Katie Peckham ran as an ambassador for the MHC. Katie, who has under gone 3 open heart surgeries and has a pacemaker, ran along side her cardiac surgeon and president of the Maritime Heart Center, Dr. Camille Hancock Friesen.  Congratulations Katie!
