Congratulations to EVERYONE who took part in this year’s MacPass Miles event!
On Sunday August 1st, the MacDonald Bridge was the site of a series of races from Halifax to Dartmouth for all ages and ability levels – and the Maritime Heart Center was a proud sponsor!
In addition to races for various youth age groups and adult races from age 18 all the way up to age 70+, MacPass Miles attracted international elite athletes. The maritime Heart Center also hosted the Medical Mile, a special race for members of HRM’s medical community. Special thanks to all our Medical Mile runners, and congratulations to our first-place winners Leslie Marcotte and Doug Hayami!
The event was a resounding success, attracting well over 500 runners plus countless spectators.
