MHC Charity Golf Classic 2009
The Annual Maritime Heart Center Charity Golf Classic brings together friends, colleagues, and patients to support cardiovascular research and education in the Maritime Provinces.
This year’s event was held on September 10th, 2009 at Sherwood Golf and Country Club. Over $30,000 were raised and will go directly to our Minimally Invasive Valve Campaign, an up and coming technology that will allow patients with heart disease to undergo less invasive proceedures. We will be one of 4 centers in Canada with this technology and it will enable us to continue to provide world class care to Maritimers with heart disease right here at home!
19 teams joined us on the course, including patients, surgeons, medical staff, family and friends.
